Hank Crawford 1934-2009

Alto saxophonist Hank Crawford, 74, who died at his Memphis home, began his prolific career as a sideman in Ray Charles' legendary 1950s band and went on to grace numerous jazz and soul bands with his distinctive blues based sound.
